All animals travel. Fish need to swim, birds need to fly…and dogs need to walk!
PET SITTING
It is nice to get away, but leaving your home overnight can cause stress for you and your pet(s). At MUZZLE NUDGE we provide your pet with a calm, relaxing night at your home, a comfortable and safe environment that your pet(s) know. Also, it helps reduce the stress of being away from home and gives you peace of mind knowing they’re happy, safe and well taken care of.
We always build a connection with pet parents in advance to discuss their pet’s unique personalities and stay in contact and constant communication during our visit. Our first meet and greet home visit (initial consult) with us is always FREE.

TAILORED DOG WALKING SERVICES
Taking a dog for a walk is one of life’s most joyful experiences for me! There is so much connection that exists in this simple activity. This is how dogs live life, experience life, learn about life, the way they connect with the family, and the way they get to know the world. A simple walk is so important for the dog’s physical and emotional health, and it is so meaningful to them, but not all walks are equal. I offer various dog walking options to suit your pet’s needs.
SOLO DOG WALKS
Some dogs thrive in one-on-one environment. Maybe your dog is nervous around other pets, reactive to specific situations, or enjoys having the spotlight on themselves. My solo dog walks are the perfect solution.
It’s all about them when I take your dog out for a solo walk. We’ll stroll at their pace, explore their favorite spots, and ensure they’re happy and comfortable. It’s a great way to give your dog the necessary exercise without the stress of group settings.
Cost: $30 for 30min. Time can be customized based on client’s needs.
AIDED DOG WALKS
My aided walks are a gentle option if your dog is recovering from surgery, has mobility issues, or needs extra care. I’ll work with your dog’s pace and ensure their needs are met, whether they need a short, slow walk or just some time outside to enjoy the fresh air.
Cost: $30 for 30 min. Time can be customized based on client’s needs.
WORKING WALKS AND TRAINING WALKS
High-energy dogs need more than a quick stroll around the block—they need a challenge. My working walks combine physical exercise with mental stimulation to tire out your pup. These walks are perfect for working breeds, energetic puppies, or dogs that love to stay busy.
We’ll incorporate fun activities like:
Scent Work: Letting your dog use their nose to find hidden treats or toys.
Training Reinforcement: Practicing commands/cues like “sit,” “wait,” and “leave it” to keep their minds sharp.
Enrichment Activities: Games that challenge their instincts and intelligence based on the breed.
Cost: $45 for 30 min. Time can be customized base on client’s needs.
Our modern lives are so busy that it seems overwhelming to have to add in daily walks with our dogs on top of everything else. But if your are going to take on the responsibility of living with a dog, this is the contract you sign. You need to walk with your dog. Every day. Preferably at least twice a day. And for minimum of thirty minutes at a time.
THE BENEFITS OF WALKS
Walking with your dog is a primal activity. It is hardwired into her brain to migrate with her pack. Dogs don’t simply enjoy walks because they get to pee and poop and get some fresh air. Every cell in your dog’s body is crying out for a walk.
The walk is where your dog learns to be a dog. She learns about the environment, about the other animals and humans in it, about the dangers and things to avoid. She gets to pee on trees and really get to know her territory.
Walking with your dog is the single most powerful tool to help you connect with all the aspects of your dog’s mind. The walk is the foundation of your relationship. By mastering the walk, you have the ability to truly bond with your dog as her pack leader.
