Dog Training
A balanced dog is in the state Mother Nature Nature wants it to be—as a calm, submissive pack follower, who is fulfilled physically with exercise; psychologically with rules, boundaries, and limitations; and emotionally with affection from it’s owner.
Can you really raise “the perfect dog?” I absolutely believe you can! As a Dog Trainer and a Dog Behaviorist, I use methods and advocate that to teach a dog anything, from simple manners to complicated behavior or tricks, you need to start with building a relationship with your dog by honoring and fulfilling all her primal needs. My training methodology includes conversing with dogs using energy, body language, and deep understanding of dog psychology. I use a holistic approach combining positive reinforcement and gentle correction techniques individually selected based on each dog’s reinforcement preferences, breed, history, family needs, and more. FIRST CONSULTATION/BEHAVIOR ASSESSMENT:
Initial assessment to meet with you and your dog to go over training plan, set goals, and expectations.
Cost: $100 for 60min
WALK-TRAIN:
Private sessions, offering services of dog walking with the added benefit of training your dog during the walk.
Cost: $45 for 30min per dog/puppy. Time is need based.
PRIVATE TRAINING:
Focused and customized private sessions with ability to meet at any locations including your home, pet store, park, and the trainer’s home etc to work with the dog in the environment that is relevant to the issues you are working on.
Cost: $80 for 60min. Session topics and length are customized to optimize the progress
NEW PUPPY/DOG CONSULTATION:
Private session(s) with a Certified Dog Trainer and Dog Behavior Specialist at your home to assist you and your family in choosing and preparing for a new dog. Based on your unique goals, lifestyle, and daily habits, you will receive clear guidance on most suitable breeds as well as information on needed equipment before the dog’s arrival. We will also assess both indoor and outdoor spaces in your home to make the transition as easy as possible for both you and your pup.
Cost: $100 for 60min. Follow up sessions are available .
PUPPY PRIMER:
It is you and your pup’s training program designed to start your pup on the right paw! Private sessions cover special topics like House Training, Crate Training, Polite Guest Greeting, Exercises like Sit, Down, Stay, Leave It, and Touch (Hand Target), etc and Practice Make Perfect (the training plan to master the behaviors).
Cost: $80 for 60min.
